NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Park Commission for the Town of Middleton, County of Dane, will conduct a meeting for the transaction of business as is by law required or permitted at such meeting as follows:

1.       Proof of Posting.

2.       Approve Minutes of the Meeting of January 9, 2012.

3.       Public Input.

4.       Liaison Report.

5.       Interview potential candidates for Park Commission vacancy.

6.       Recommend appointment for Park Commission vacancy.

7.       Review of three-lot Certified Survey Map – 4085 / 4095 Keewatin Trail – Haviland / Karls.

8.       Updating the Town’s Outdoor Recreation Plan and park fees.

9.       Discussion and possible approval to apply for certain grant programs.

10.     Update on Settlers Prairie Management Plan.

11.     Discussion and possible recommendation to Town Board to amend Town Park Ordinances Section 4-5 regarding park regulations and uses.

12.     Town Crew Report and Upcoming Projects:

a)       Approval to repair Superscoops in Pioneer Park.

b)      Approval to purchase port-a-pottie.

c)       Approval to purchase new “Pope Farm Conservancy” sign.

d)      Approval to purchase new “Goth Conservancy” sign.

e)       Approval to develop trail in Northern Lights Estates.

13.     Pope Farm Conservancy Report.

14.     Park Fund Financials.

15.     Staff Report.

16.     Commission Members’ Announcements.

17.     Adjourn.

It is possible that members of and possibly a quorum of members of other governmental bodies of the town may be in attendance at any of the meetings to gather information; however, no action will be taken by any governmental body at said meeting other than the governmental body specifically referred to in the meeting notice.

Any person who has a qualifying disability as defined by the American With Disabilities Act that requires the meeting or materials at the meeting to be in an accessible location or format must contact the Town Clerk at 833-5887, 7555 W. Old Sauk Road, Verona, WI at least 24 hours prior to the commencement of the meeting so that any necessary arrangements can be made to accommodate each request.
