Report Stormwater Facility Inspection
Below is a summary of the Stormwater Facility Inspection and Reporting requirements as per Section 17-06 of the Town of Middleton Ordinances.
Summary
- Inspection reports shall be submitted no later than November 1st.
- Inspection reports are due on November 1st of every odd year
- There is no fee due if the report is submitted by the due date
- If report is not submitted by the due date, the Town will direct Town Engineer to complete the inspection and report. The engineering fee plus a $750 penalty will then be prorated and assessed to the tax bills of all owners of those stormwater facilities
- Owners must contact a qualified individual to complete the certification inspection and report
- Owners are responsible for all inspection, reporting and review costs and fees
- Owners may elect to have the Town's Engineer complete the inspection and report on their behalf, in which case the engineering fee will then be assessed to the tax bills of the owners of the stormwater facilities. Owners who elect to have the Town's engineer complete the inspection and report shall notify the Town in writing by September 15, 2021. The fee for the Town engineer to complete the inspection and report in 2021 is $600 which includes Town administration costs
- Owners are responsible for all required maintenance to stormwater facilities as described on the inspection report and certification or as determined by the Town
