2026 Pulverize and Overlay Project
Alternative to Driveway Replacement Form

In general, the work consists of tree and brush removal, drainage improvements, pulverizing the existing pavement, undercutting areas of poor subgrade, repaving the mainline road, and restoration of driveway aprons and shoulders to match the new road profile.
The project completion schedule for the work requires the contractor to begin the project May 18, 2026, and have it substantially complete by August 14, 2026. Town residents affected by the Pulverize and Overlay Road Projects will receive detailed information before the project begins.
2026 Seal & Crack Fill Surface Treatment Road Projects
The Crack Fill and Chip Seal projects are tentatively scheduled to occur this summer. Chip sealing is an important part of the Town of Middleton's pavement management program. The benefits of chip sealing road include waterproofing the roads, protecting the underlying pavement from oxidation, aging and traffic wear, sealing small cracks and imperfections, and extending the serviceable life of the roads.
